Just a few places remain for investment professionals to attend our Investment Adviser 100 Club roadshow, which continues this week with stops in Edinburgh and London.

The nationwide Battle of the Asset Classes tour will see some of the UK’s leading investment managers and experts debate on the best multi-asset investments.

The events this week take place on Tuesday morning, April 29, at the Radisson Blu on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile and at the Financial Times’s One Southwark Bridge offices on Thursday, May 1.

The roadshows will be hosted by Square Mile Investment Consulting & Research’s Richard Romer-Lee who will point to changes in the retirement market as the catalyst for a new way of viewing the client investment process and multi-asset investing.

Architas’s chief investment officer Caspar Rock will be speaking at both events while private equity specialists Pantheon International Participations’ European investment expert Helen Steers will highlight the benefits of private equity within investors’ portfolios for the London audience.

In Edinburgh, Standard Life Investments’ head of sterling investment grade credit Daniel McKernan will be speaking to delegates about fixed income. The fund manager Daniel has more than 20 years’ investment management experience as a fixed income fund manager and prior to joining SLI worked at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership as head of European and sterling credit.

In London, the Finanial Times’ senior investment columnist John Authers will provide his expert outlook on financial markets while investment expert Stephen Peters of Charles Stanley will also reveal his favoured asset class in London.

Legg Mason’s Ajay Dayal will be present at both events to outline the opportunities in global equity income.

Investment professionals will have the opportunity to quiz panellists in a discussion session before breaking for a free lunch and networking.

The roadshow will finish in Birmingham on May 13.
