The Consulting Consortium has rolled out a new compliance support service for the intermediary market, called TCC Intermediary.
TCC Intermediary offers compliance support, tailored to the needs of individual clients, with the aim of minimising compliance risk and keeping them beyond reproach from the Financial Conduct Authority.
TCC Intermediary’s core service offers an initial health check to assess clients’ current arrangements against FCA expectations, followed by a “bespoke” compliance monitoring programme that is tailored to the areas clients need support.
The service also offers strategic input and practical assistance to firms through a wide range of ad-hoc compliance services including mis-selling reviews and Section 166 reports.
The consortium said TCC Intermediary has been developed in response to “growing demand for compliance support in the face of increasing regulatory scrutiny”.
Joanne Smith, chief executive at The Consulting Consortium, said: “In a market saturated by off-the-shelf support and small compliance providers, we took this opportunity to develop a bespoke option that puts the needs of our clients’ businesses at the heart of our service.
“TCC Intermediary provides expert solutions to any compliance need above and beyond the competition, all delivered through the expertise, knowledge and resource of TCC.”
The consortium acquired boutique intermediary support consultancy Swaines Limited in 2013, and it is Swaine’s founder who is heading up the new business.
Allen Swaine, managing director of TCC Intermediary and founder of Swaines, said: “Our experience working with our clients has highlighted the need within the sector for simple, tailored compliance support that provides real value.
“We continue to offer the same personal service as clients received through Swaines but with the backing of TCC we now have the resources to expand our service and deliver enhanced support.”
