UK equity manager Leigh Himsworth has left City Financial and is understood to be joining Fidelity.
Mr Himsworth is the sole manager on City Financial’s £70m City Financial UK Opportunities fund and the £10.6m UK Income Opportunities fund and it is unknown who will take over.
The move will see Mr Himsworth working alongside his former colleague Dan Roberts, who joined Fidelity in November 2011 after a short spell at Eden Financial.
Mr Himsworth also worked for Eden at the time of Mr Roberts’ arrival there. The group was later acquired by City Financial.
Mr Roberts runs the group’s Global Dividend and Global Enhanced Income fund.
Fidelity declined to comment.
