Simon Brazier will take on the management of the Investec UK Alpha fund following his move from Threadneedle Investments.
The UK equity manager, who joins Investec in November, will also manage the offshore Investec GSF UK Equity fund.
Blake Hutchins, who has also moved across to Investec from Threadneedle, will act as alternate manager on both funds with Ben Needham and Anna Farmbrough acting as analysts.
Investec said Mr Brazier would run the two funds “identically” to the strategy he employed on his Threadneedle UK fund.
Jonathan Parker, who is currently the lead manager on both funds, will remain at Investec as part of the 4Factor equity team after handing over his funds, according to Investec.
