On the full moon night of 16 May, staff members of Leeds Building Society’s Epsom branch power-walked 26.2 miles around London to raise funds for a breast cancer charity.

Customer service adviser Kelly Urquhart (pictured) and 16 fellow walkers, called ‘The Plumb Tarts’, stayed up all night to finish the MoonWalk London in eight hours, raising £1,300 for Walk the Walk - including £400 in matched funding from Leeds Building Society.

The marathon went from Clapham Common through Battersea Park, along the South Bank and across Tower Bridge.

The combined fundraising total for the group is £5,500 so far.

Ms Urquhart said: “I would like to thank everyone who has sponsored me and Leeds Building Society for providing matched funding.”
