Newton chief executive and IA chair Helena Morrissey said: “The Investment Association has always been fortunate to have strong support from the industry. I would like to thank all our board members who retired this year for their valuable time, contribution and advice.

“I am also delighted to welcome our new board members whose expertise and knowledge will be important in shaping the future of our sector at a critical time.”

Peter Chambers, James Charrington, Robert Higginbotham, Keith Skeoch and Robert Talbut have retired from the board. Will Nott and Tom Rampulla did so after the last AGM.
