Boulton brings a wealth of experience

Neil Boulton has been appointed wealth advisory manager at Grimsby-based FB Wealth Management.

Mr Boulton joins from Standard Life where he was UK international sales manager. With 38 years’ experience in various senior positions in the industry, he will help widen the firm’s offering.

He said: “I am absolutely delighted to have joined, and by drawing upon my broad experience I aim to help make FB Wealth Management the place of choice for anyone seeking truly independent financial advice.”

John Varley, managing director of FB Wealth Management, said: “I am personally thrilled with his appointment. To have secured such a highly-regarded professional in Mr Boulton is testament to how far we have come in a short space of time as one of the North’s leading IFA firms.”

BACKGROUND

In recent weeks, several advisory firms have made high-level appointments, taking people from providers. In November, Towry selected former L&G board member Wadham Downing as chief financial officer. Earlier this month, Bower hired Clara Curtis as national account manager.
