Tenet boosts board with two appointments

Tenet Group has added two existing directors to the board in a bid to grow its knowledge and help the firm reach its targets.

Distribution and development director, Helen Ball, and managing director of TenetLime, Gemma Harle, both joined the board this month.

Ms Ball has been with the adviser support firm the since 2011, initially joining as sales and development director of Sinfonia Asset Management. She was appointed to her current role in February 2013.

Ms Harle joined Tenet as managing director of its non-investment proposition TenetLime in 2010 and has also held a number of other senior positions within the industry, at both lenders and distributors.

Tenet Group chief executive Martin Greenwood said: “Helen and Gemma both bring different skills, knowledge and experience to the board and will help it to deliver its strategic objectives.”

The latest additions to the board come after last month, Tenet came under fire from the Financial Ombudsman Service for advising a client to take out mortgages on properties she owned and put the cash into a discounted gift trust.
