Aspinalls Unveil new CEO

Specialist financial planning practice Aspinalls Group has announced that Matthew Pardon has become the companies new chief executive.

Mr. Parden has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, wth a notable 17-year stint at Duncan Lawrie Private Bank as Finance Director and latterly group managing director.

He is a physics graduate, with a BSc degree from Liverpool University and subsequently qualified as a chartered accountant before pursuing what has been a successful career in the financial services industry.

Mr. Parden joins Aspinalls after period of growth for the company in which it has launched new services to complement its financial advisory and private office businesses including the recent launch of Buckingham Street Capital, a discretionary fund manager.

David Aspinall, executive chairman of Aspinalls Group, said: “Mr Parden’s wide-ranging expertise and experience will be invaluable in supporting me in growing our client-focussed business through times of exciting change.”

Mr. Parden was himself enthusiastic about the arrangement, and noted his belief in the group’s potential. He said: “Aspinalls is a hidden gem in the financial planning and wealth management market.
