The Guisborough, Yorkshire branch of Darlington Building Society has given £250 from its community fund to purchase outdoor playground equipment for St Paulinus RC Primary School in Guisborough.
The donation will be spent on sports equipment, including balls and skipping ropes, as well as creative toys such as pavement chalks and den-making equipment.
The Darlington’s Guisborough branch manager Nicki Armstrong said: “We’re only too pleased to be able to make this donation to St Paulinus Primary. Playing outside is so important for children. It’s an opportunity for them to get some fresh air and exercise.”
