Two of Brooks Macdonald’s senior management team are to leave the company.
Ben Thorpe, chief financial officer, and Lynsey Cross, chief operating officer, have both stepped down from the board with immediate effect.
The pair will then leave Brooks Macdonald in the coming months.
Cross led the re-platforming of the business to SS&C Technologies, and Brooks said that given much of the operation of the business was now outsourced, it did not intend to appoint a board-level replacement.
Thorpe joined the company in August 2018 from Brewin Dolphin where he was head of finance. Before that, he spent 14 years working in the financial planning and analysis teams at Morgan Stanley, RBS and Barclays Capital.
Cross joined Brooks Macdonald in May 2020, joining from ANV Group where she was chief executive, leading the company through its acquisition to AmTrust, where she was appointed COO.
Alan Carruthers, chairman of Brooks Macdonald, said: "I would like to thank both Ben and Lynsey for their contributions during a period of significant change for the business.
“They leave the company in a much improved position and well placed for further growth."
