SJP announces chartered award winners

St James’s Place announced the five winners of its chartered awards at its symposium yesterday (January 25).

The winners were:

  • Rhiannon Gogh of Planit Future Financial who won SJP chartered planner of the year 2023
  • Dr Jeremy Chapman of Sycamore Alliance who was awarded the first ever SJP responsible business of the year award
  • Megan Gardner of Mercury Financial Management was crowned SJP paraplanner of the year
  • Ceri Griffiths of Willow Brook Lifestyle Financial Planning was announced vulnerability champion of the year
  • Tweed Wealth Managemnt were awarded SJP chartered firm of the year

Commenting on her win Gogh said: “Financial advice can be transformational for the parents and carers of those with disabilities. I am speaking from lived experience as I am a carer for my son who lives with Autism.

"I am proud to have supported this community for the past seven years and thankful for the colleagues and clients that I have worked with along the way.”

The new responsible business award was created to celebrate businesses that "aim to have a positive and lasting impact on society".

Chapman has done a lot of work in the local community through his work on the Violent Crime Prevention Board, as well as establishing a non for profit ‘Honestly’ in Africa and doing pro bono work.

Edward Grant, professional development director at SJP, said: “These awards are a way for us to recognise good practice across our partnership and highlight those that are going above and beyond for our clients.”
