Coutts creates financial planning head position
Laura Kingman joins Coutts from Nutmeg (Coutts)

A new financial planning head role has been created at Coutts, the wealth manager and private bank owned by NatWest.

The company has appointed Laura Kingman as head of financial planning, who said it was a “childhood dream” to join Coutts.

She joins from Nutmeg where she was director of wealth services.

In her new role she will head-up a department of 40 financial planners and team leaders.

Kingman said: “It’s always been a childhood dream of mine to work for Coutts, with the prestige and history associated with the brand. Coutts is made up of exceptionally talented people and I’m thrilled to be joining at such an exciting time.

“I am looking forward to integrating myself within the business and working closely with clients and colleagues to better understand their priorities and help us build and develop our market-leading brand together.”

Coutts said the new role will allow the company to “deepen its relationship with clients”.

Greg Kyle-Langley, managing director, head of specialists, at Coutts added: “The creation of this role shows Coutts’ continued commitment to the market.

"Our priority is to work closely with clients to provide a personalised service, understanding their needs and help them reach their financial goals.”
