Broker Fosters Financial has launched an online mortgage company to help clients with greater flexibility.
Your Mortgage is an online brokerage, which founder John Foster said has been designed to cater for people who wish to transact their mortgage application around their busy lives.
Many clients, according to Mr Foster, already have an understanding of mortgages and "just want the ability to get the best product on the market", without spending hours trawling the internet and without having to fork out for fee-based advice.
Using software, potential clients can put their personal details in and then generate quotations. However, as Mr Foster said: "There will still be a living, breathing adviser to make sure you have chosen the best product for you and present your case to the bank's underwriters on your behalf."
Mr Foster added: "As a business we appreciate that not everyone wants to sit down with us in the office, at their place of work or home and go through everything face to face.
"We also appreciate that some people know what they want and just need an efficient way to transact. Your Mortgage allows them to do it and I am really excited to launch this product to the market and cater for what we believe is a gap in the market.”
According to Mr Foster, the systems on Your Mortgage could allow people to transact a mortgage at work, on the train or even in an advert break.
