It must also pay any tax charge that arises to HMRC and pay £575 to Ms N, increasing the overall reward for the distress and inconvenience caused to £1,000.
The firm must also pay an amount equal to the investment gain that Ms N would have received if the transfer was completed on June 13 to the new receiving scheme.
