AJ Bell has launched a technical hub to support advisers with pension tax changes when the lifetime allowance is abolished in April.

AJ Bell said, following last year’s announcement of the abolition of the LTA, many advisers will want to be able to reassure their clients of the best ways to plan for their future.

To facilitate this, it has launched Tech Zone to provide a technical hub addressing all of the latest regulatory and legislative updates.

The hub also offers other content including guides, webinars, events and more.

AJ Bell Investcentre product director, Mark Rendle, said: “The new pension rules are far from simple, and advisers will be looking for opportunities to help clients better understand the potential impact on their retirement savings plans.

“On top of all that, all bets are on a general election at some point later this year, meaning there is likely to be further uncertainty and changes to existing policy whoever gets the keys to Number 10.”

As a result of this uncertainty, Rendle stated the company “wants to help advisers and clients navigate this in the most accessible way possible”.

He added the Tech Zone “provides exactly this opportunity” and represents “one of the few one-stop technical hubs addressing all of the latest regulatory and legislative updates in a digestible format”.

AJ Bell is also hosting free webinars from its technical team and downloadable guides for advisers through its website.

The provider stated it’s “more important than ever” that advisers have access to all the resources they require to be able to navigate the changing pensions landscape with their clients.
