CIExpert has announced the inclusion of Vitality in its Income Protection Insight Zones to strengthen its move into income protection.
Vitality’s income protection plan joins those already available from AIG and Guardian as CIExpert develops the range of services offered to advisers looking for information they need to support their advice recommendations.
CIExpert says growing usage of the Insight Zone has been strong with a "significant increase" in adviser engagement over the past 12 months.
CIExpert proposition and distribution director, Paul Roberts, said: “It is encouraging to see the growth of the income protection market as CIExpert continues to develop our Insight Zones for advisers and their clients.
“Our recent Critical Thinking 2024 report has clearly demonstrated that advisers face a challenge to educate their clients about the options that both CIC and Income Protection provide them.”
Roberts added this report prompted CIExpert to think about the tools it provides and when considering IP claims data.
“We believe the enhanced claims dashboard is a great addition for advisers and consumers as we strive to provide a consistent approach across the market,” he stated.
“We are delighted that Vitality have chosen to work with us to add a growing number of insurers joining our Income Protection Insight Zones alongside their Life and Serious Illness Zones to cover all their protection offerings.”
Vitality’s plan is immediately available to all CIExpert subscribers at no additional cost.
Vitality director of strategic partnerships, Andy Philo, said: “Vitality has seen considerable growth in IP sales since we made significant enhancements to the product last year.
