FTAdviser has been named personal finance trade/professional website of the year at the Santander UK Media Awards.
The winners of the 30th Santander Media Awards were announced at a ceremony held on Wednesday (16 November) night at The Banking Hall in London.
Presented by former Olympian Mark Foster, FTAdviser was selected as the nation’s best trade website from more than 250 entries and by a panel of more than 20 independent judges.
Judges, including Patrick Connolly, head of communications at Chase de Vere, said: “This title has a reputation for delivering hard hitting exclusives as well as quality analysis and opinion to its audience on the issues that really count.”
Other winners included Financial Adviser columnist Jeff Prestridge, who was applauded for his contribution to personal finance education and former Financial Adviser reporter Iona Bain, who was named Moneyblogger of the Year for her Young Money blog.
Financial Adviser was named runner-up in the Financial Trade/Professional title of the year category.
