Guardian Wealth Management has announced the appointment of Mike Coady as chief commercial officer with immediate effect.

He will be in charge of the global expansion of Guardian Wealth Management Group, and has been appointed to further strengthen the company's growth plans and deliver revenue on a global basis.

Mr Coady will focus on increasing market share through both the expansion and ability of existing offices, and through the opening of additional regions, brands and development of further technology supported distribution channels.

Additionally, he will develop further business opportunities within the Guardian Wealth Management Group.

Mr Coady said: "Guardian Wealth Management has already benefited from a successful expansion programme and I am looking forward to working closely with what is a strong and committed management team, to realise the full global potential of the Guardian brand and its industry leading service culture."

Gavin Pluck, Guardian Wealth Management Group's managing director said: "Mike brings an obvious wealth of experience to this role and has demonstrated very strong leadership over many years, he is highly creative and has exceptional organisational skills.

"These strengths will be invaluable as we enter another exciting phase in our history."
