Openwork poaches Sesame recruiter

Hayley Stansfield has left Sesame to join Openwork as regional recruitment manager.

She was previously at Sesame Bankhall Group for 12 years holding a variety of business development and recruitment roles.

Ms Stansfield is the third person to leave Sesame for Openwork, including Stephen Wildgood, who she will report to.

Mr Wildgoose, Openwork’s recruitment and growth director, said: “Attracting industry professionals with Hayley’s knowledge, expertise, experience and reputation is testament to the strength of Openwork’s culture and service proposition.

“We are delighted that Hayley has decided to join our positive and profitable business, and add further to our growing recruitment ambitions.”

Mr Wildgoose reports to John Cupis, who left Sesame himself, where he was managing director for mortgages, in 2015.

Openwork announced in July that it had exceeded 3,000 advisers for the first time in its history despite a long-term decline in the number of advisers working in the UK market.

Ms Stansfield said: “Openwork’s clear vision for growth, financial strength and breadth of service proposition not only add value but inspire loyalty from existing firms and advisers.

“With Openwork’s unique ownership scheme, innovative technology and competitive commercial framework, I am confident in attracting more business enterprises looking to build value for themselves and their practice.”
