Tenet launches scheme to entice employed advisers

Tenet has launched a programme to lure employed advisers away from their firms and become members of the network.

The 'Business in a Box' programme will allow advisers who have aspirations to run their own business to do so by joining Tenet as an appointed representative and receiving support from the network.

They will be able to transition into a directly authorised status under the Tenet umbrella after their business has been established, if suitable.

Helen Ball, group operations director at Tenet, said: "Our aim is to provide aspiring employed advisers from outside the group with everything they will need to start their own business. The solution will support advisers in delivery of a great service to their clients with help from the Tenet team to gain all the skills they need to run their own business.

"As a group, we remain fully committed to independent advice. This new solution offers a great route into the industry with the potential for new firms to move to an independent advice proposition under the Tenet umbrella as they develop and grow."

Tenet said the programme will allow advisers to start their self-employed journey with everything they need, including a business development plan, which includes support with advertising, social media and client seminars.

It will also come with access to funding, IT equipment and a fully supported advice proposition.
