PlanPlus launches suitability platform

PlanPlus Global has launched a suitability platform which includes a number of tools, including a risk profiling product for advisers.

The company was formed last year by the merger of Finametrica and PlanPlus.

Its new platform, SuitabilityPro, can be purchased as a complete suite or in modules to allow integration with other risk profiling or planning tools.

Shawn Brayman, chief executive of PlanPlus Global, said: "On the first anniversary of our merger, we are delighted to launch our new brand identity and reveal details of our evolutionary software suite.

"Our clients are increasingly being asked by regulators to 'prove' they have applied their knowledge, experience and professional judgment in selecting investments that are in the best interests of their clients. The answer has evolved into our new suitability platform."

SuitabilityPro includes FinaMetrica Profiler, a psychometric risk profiling solution, Pro Planner, a multi-lingual/currency/country award-winning financial planning software, and Pro Tracker, which offers continuous portfolio monitoring to ensure investors remain suitably invested over time.

Paul Resnik, executive director of PlanPlus Global, said: "It is our overall belief that the issue of 'suitability' will become increasingly important and of widespread interest among countries where financial planning and investment advisory industries are established.

"Consequently, we are initiating a paradigm shift in the way the financial services market views and evidences suitable advice.

"Our new product, SuitabilityPro, delivers the industry’s first scientifically-validated Suitability Score which gives financial advisers confidence that their clients’ personal risk profiles map to their chosen portfolios."
