To celebrate companies and individuals in the financial services industry who are striving to make their workforce more inclusive, Financial Adviser has developed the Diversity in Finance Awards.
The awards will look at individuals who have demonstrated their support for minority groups and promoted and inspired those who are otherwise under-represented.
Companies whose policies, schemes or initiatives encourage and enable diversity in the workplace will also be applauded at an exclusive black-tie dinner and presentation ceremony on June 20 in London.
It is free to enter these awards - all you need to do is share your unique and inspiring stories of how you have worked to improve employment conditions and opportunities for one or many underrepresented groups in 2018.
Individuals may enter as many categories as they wish, and nominations can be written and submitted by colleagues or by entrants themselves.
Entries for individuals will be no more than 300 words while companies can share a report of no more than 1,000 words detailing how they changed their workplace in 2018.
Entries will be judged by a panel of experts in this field, including Ruth Hunt, chief executive of UK-based lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights charity Stonewall.
