Chris Budd, founder and chairman of Ovation Finance, has explained why the employee ownership model can be a "brilliant route" for advice firms.
He said employee ownership gives all the advantages to the employees and owners that they would want from an exit.
Mr Budd also spoke about how preparing an advice firm for sale to a consolidator differed from preparing it for employee ownership.
Finally, he discussed financial wellbeing and why clients come to financial advisers specifically not to think about their money.
