The shortlist for the first FTAdviser Diversity in Finance Awards has been revealed.
The awards will celebrate companies and individuals in the financial services industry who are striving to make their workforce more inclusive.
There are categories for individuals who have demonstrated their support for minority groups and promoted and inspired those who are otherwise under-represented.
Meanwhile companies whose policies, schemes or initiatives encourage and enable diversity in the workplace will also be recognised.
To make the shortlist, these companies and individuals shared their unique and inspiring stories of how they had worked to improve employment conditions and opportunities for one or more underrepresented groups in 2018.
Winners will be announced at a dinner and presentation ceremony at the Financial Times's new headquarters in Bracken House, in Cannon Street on July 3.
