The Chartered Insurance Institute has launched two leadership focused training programmes, with one focusing on how advisers can build and run a firm successfully.
Starting in October, the two courses - Building a World Class Advisory Practice and Managers as Coaches - are designed to teach team leadership, and strong business development, with the former tailored to those working within the financial advice sector.
The Building a World Class Advisory Practice programme is specifically aimed at helping business owners grow and develop their business with structured and practical support.
It is a five-day training programme, starting on October 18 2023, delivered over a four week period. There is also a focus on how firms can align with the FCA’s consumer duty principles.
The course provides a methodology for business growth and includes a tailored business plan that incorporates a three-year strategy and one-year action plan.

Managers as Coaches is an eight week programme focusing on developing and practising coaching skills for managers to support both team and individual development.
It looks to enhance people management skills and improve communication skills.
