Hoxton Capital Management has bought two UK-based financial advisory firms.

Hoxton Capital Management, which has offices in the UK, UAE, USA, Australia, South Africa, and Europe, has bought Dudley-based Alpha Financial Services and Guildford-based Bartholomew Financial Planning.

Hoxton Capital Management acquisitions director, Thomas Maddison, described these firms as having “excellent reputations” for their holistic approaches to financial planning and their “commitment” to client satisfaction.

He added these acquisitions reinforce Hoxton’s dedication to providing “unparalleled” financial solutions to meet the needs of its clients.

Alpha Financial Services has £80mn worth of assets under management and serves more than 300 families and corporate clients across the West Midlands.

This deal gives Hoxton its first office in the region.

Additionally, Alpha Financial Services, which has been providing financial management, pensions, and life insurance advice since 1996, offers a full range of financial management services.

This includes investment portfolio planning service as well as guidance on income drawdown, pension consolidation and transfers, self-invested personal pensions and small self-administered schemes.

Bartholomew services 80 clients and concentrates on personalised holistic financial planning.

Hoxton Capital Management said Karen Bartholomew, managing director of Bartholomew, will remain as an ambassador to oversee the integration of her clients.

“We will continue to look for opportunities to do so and we are excited to embark on this journey with both teams, leveraging our combined expertise to ensure a seamless integration for all involved,” Maddison added.

Hoxton recently revealed it had reached $1.7bn assets under management, a 30 per cent year-on-year increase.
