Söderberg & Partners has purchased stakes in Courtney Havers, Bespoke-Advice Ltd, Clear Financial Advice and Bigmore Associates for undisclosed sums.

The Swedish advice firm has now purchased 11 UK firms after receiving €200mn (£171.6mn) from minority owner KKR.

Tunbridge Wells-based Courtney Havers, one of the latest firms to be purchased, helps individuals, families and businesses to achieve financial freedom.

Worcester-based Bespoke-Advice, is a B-Corp registered IFA firm with offices in Worcester and London with 30 staff advising on £630mn of client assets.

Surrey-based Clear Financial Advice manages assets of £120mn and works with accountants and solicitors to help clients achieve their aims.

Walton-on-Thames-based Bigmore Associate covers a wide range of financial advice from investments and pensions to mortgages, wills, payroll and employee benefits.

Gustaf Rentzhog, chief executive at Söderberg & Partners said the firm was not a consolidator but rather its goal was to support entrepreneurs to achieve their vision for their advice business.

Alex Morley, managing director of Bespoke-Advice, said: “Our strategy of acquiring retiring adviser books to ensure a continuation of independent advice through our employed advisers is well received by clients and retiring advisers alike.

"Our culture and ethos align perfectly with Söderberg, allowing the opportunity for us to accelerate growth whilst remaining true to our core values and beliefs.”

Adam Nettleship, managing director of Bigmore Associates, added: “Working with Söderberg & Partners, a firm with a proven track record in developing technology to improve the advice process and experience, will enable us to be leaders of the futures of financial planning. We will continually evolve our services to enhance quality and value for our clients.”

Earlier this year (January 2023), Söderberg & Partners purchased a minority stake in Bath-based advice firm Fidelius.

It also bought stakes in London wealth manager Vintage and Croydon-based PK Financial in its first deals of 2024.
