Compliance service provider SimplyBiz has agreed to provide compliance and equity release services to retirement specialist Age Partnership.
Under the terms of the agreement which comes into effect immediately, SimplyBiz will provide third party compliance support for Age Partnership’s entire proposition. In return, Age Partnership will provide a referral proposition to all SimplyBiz members in relation to equity release.
Dan Baines, sales and marketing director at Age Partnership, said to FTAdviser: “[SimplyBiz members] can advise on equity release if they are fully qualified, and if they don’t want to do the business themselves they can refer clients to us and they receive a referral fee if the business completes.”
He added that Age Partnership evaluates the whole of the equity release market before giving advice on the subject.
In a statement Mr Baines said: “The equity release market has benefited greatly from increased funding in 2013, which in turn has led to some fantastic product innovation and developments.
“As specialists in equity release, Age Partnership has access to many exclusive and preferential deals, from which SimplyBiz members and their clients can now benefit.”
