Letter: Website is starting block for stock market

The article says that the site was aimed at the regular trader, not the first time purchaser. However, if anyone thinks first-time share purchasers do not head straight for ADVFN, they need to wise up.

ADVFN’s investing guides, such as 101 Ways to Pick Stock Market Winners, did not get to No.1 on Amazon’s investing charts for no reason. ADVFN is exactly where beginners start their journey in stock investment.

Advisers should not be scared of sophisticated websites for share investors. The empowerment of their customers with knowledge and tools is a good thing.
