Barry Vitou, Partner for City law firm Pinsent Masons LLP, said protecting the SFO’s budget was “crucial”. His comments came in response to estimates provided to MPs, which said the SFO’s budget is to be cut from £40.8m in 2012/13 to £34.6m in 2013/14.
