Miton has hired a regional sales director covering the north of England, Scotland and Ireland.
Carl Rowbury is set to join Miton on February 3 and will report to Neil Bridge, head of sales at Miton.
Mr Rowbury had previously worked at Aviva Investors for eight years, having also spent time at Close Investment Management, Merrill Lynch Investment Management and Fidelity.
