In all the drama and debate about pension tax relief and lifetime saving, Octopus Investments has done some analysis into the people who are likely to be affected by the pension lifetime allowance.

Apparently, 14 per cent of those earning £40,001 to £50,000 expect to hit the LTA limit, and as many as 63 per cent of those earning £50,001 to £60,000 will also be affected.

Soon it will also be journalists and teachers who will be hitting the LTA, at this rate.
