Square Mile Investment Consulting & Research has added the MyFolio Managed range of funds to its recommended academy.
The research firm’s head of risk-based solutions Alex Farlow said the funds join the MyFolio Market and Multi-manager ranges, which were included in the list of recommendations in July 2014.
He said: “These funds are part of a strong overall risk targeted proposition offered by Standard Life.
This is a well-managed fund and popular with advisers. Alex Reynolds, an adviser at Advies Private Clients, said the MyFolio Managed range is popular with his peers. “I’m not surprised Square Mile have endorsed that and put them on the list, as they’ve been around for quite a few years.
“They are a good risk-managed fund and are very popular due to the fact that they have different risk bands, so this comes as no surprise.”
