Former Aberdeen Asset Management distribution boss John Brett has joined Scotland-based Anderson Strathern Asset Management as chief executive.
According to Anderson Strathern Asset Management, Mr Brett will lead the firm’s strategic development and “take it through its next phase of growth”.
Last October it emerged that Mr Brett, who served as Aberdeen’s head of distribution, was to step down from the position at the end of 2015, taking on a non-executive role with the asset manager’s Life and Pensions business.
Mr Brett said at the time that he would pursue a different career path but could consider “additional potential roles”.
