Advice for women: Advising women through big life transitions

The future is female. With it being estimated that by 2025, 60 per cent of Britain’s wealth will be in female hands, it is crucial that advisers are equipped and ready to serve the next generation of clients.

Women often face unique challenges when both managing and investing their money and external factors that impact their transition through midlife can often be difficult to navigate. As a result, there is a scarcity of specific and personalised advice for women going through big life changes.

Addressing this gap offers both an opportunity and a challenge for advisers in the coming years. FTAdviser Advice for Women 2022 provides advisers with relevant tips and insights to adapt and improve their services for female clients.

Understanding women and their individual and often unique needs is imperative for a financial adviser. One of the most important factors to consider is the upcoming great wealth transfer, particularly between spouses. Are firms struggling to retain and provide for female inheritors of wealth? What are the future priorities for female clients? What are the main challenges female clients are likely to endure during major life transitions? As advisers, how can we best account for these transitions?

Join us for this hour-long webinar sponsored by Schroders, as FTAdviser and our panel of experts delve into real-life advice dilemmas, to offer the most practical and relevant advice for your current and future female clients.
