EMD head House leaves Aberdeen Standard Investments

Aberdeen Standard Investments emerging market debt head Richard House has left the company, with Brett Diment tipped to replace him once the newly formed entity's fixed income teams have integrated.

The departure of Mr House comes amid the recently completed merger of Aberdeen and Standard Life. Emerging markets investment director Kieran Curtis takes over his responsibilities with immediate effect. Once the integration of the fixed income teams at the new entity is complete, it is proposed that Mr Diment will lead the emerging market debt team, reporting directly to fixed income head Craig McDonald.

Mr Diment has previously worked as emerging markets debt head for Aberdeen.

The merger has seen Mr House call time on a five-year career with Standard Life Investments, having previously held similar EMD roles at Threadneedle. Aberdeen Standard Investments said it was grateful for Mr House's contribution to the business.
