Ascot Lloyd to launch fund range

Advice company Ascot Lloyd is to launch a range of risk-weighted open-ended funds.

The risk ratings are being constructed using the Dynamic Planner system and the funds are grouped into five categories, depending on the risk level of the end investor.

The newly launched funds mirror the investments in the managed portfolio service already run by Ascot Lloyd, but will be available on 13 investment platforms, meaning the service is not just available to Ascot Lloyd clients.

All of the funds are multi-asset fund of funds.

Steven Lloyd, Ascot Lloyd's investment director, said: "Our existing MPS has provided clients with investment portfolios that are well-tailored to their risk appetite; this offering has received consistently positive feedback and delivered strong risk-adjusted returns since inception. The launch we are announcing today will enable us to offer similar solutions to a far broader range of clients and advisers.

"This is an important step for Ascot Lloyd’s overall proposition, allowing us to service a wider range of clients, and underpins our commitment to ensuring we have the products and capabilities needed to match the evolving needs of our clients."
