Momentum expands UK team for Sipp growth

Self-invested personal pension provider Momentum Pensions has beefed up its UK operation with three senior appointments aimed at driving continuing growth for its Sipp.

Paul Wright has been promoted to the board of Momentum Pensions as director and head of operations in the UK.

He joined Momentum Pensions last year and has over 30 years of experience in management and administration of Sipp and Ssas business with AJ Bell and previously with Scottish Equitable.

John McCreadie has joined as head of sales in the UK where he will work closely with advisers around Momentum Pensions’ growing Sipp proposition.

Additionally, he will offer technical guidance and support to advisers with international clients.

The third appointment is Danielle Walters who joins as business development manager for London and the South-East.

Her role at Momentum Pensions will see her work with financial advisers and help them deliver solutions to their clients using Momentum’s portfolio of specialist Sipp, Ssas and Qrops products.

Stewart Davies, group chief executive of Momentum Pensions, said: “We are exceeding our growth targets in the UK and adviser response to our UK Sipp launch has been very positive.

"With no legacy book issues, we are ideally placed to continue with our programme of investment and expansion to ensure UK advisers can count on us for the same high quality of support that we are known for in overseas jurisdictions.”
