Live blog: How will the coronavirus affect advisers?

The rapid spread of the coronavirus has led to workers across the country turning their homes into offices, markets plummeting, and a general sense of uncertainty about what happens next.

These are the times advisers can show their worth. On Wednesday April 1 at 12.30pm, FTAdviser will assemble a panel of experts to answer your important questions.

Steve Webb, former pensions minister and partner at Lane Clark & Peacock, will discuss the effect on pensions, including how returning NHS workers and those whose businesses have had to close are affected.

Adrian Lowcock, head of personal investing at Willis Owen, will be on hand to answer questions about how to manage investments during a period of excess volatility.

And Heather Hopkins, founder of NextWealth, will help advisers understand how their businesses can survive, evolve and even flourish in these challenging times.

Questions can be submitted in advance to damian.fantato@ft.com, or on the day through the commenting facility on our live blog.

We look forward to seeing you take part.
