Skipton Building Society has partnered with mortgage broker Alexander Hall in a deal that will see it provide advice to the broker's clients.

The partnership will see the broker refer its clients to Skipton for advice on pensions and investments where needed.

This is the second such deal this month, following its partnership with mortgage club Brilliant Solutions.

Skipton said it wants to make financial planning and advice accessible to more people.

A spokesperson said: "The financial advice and business development teams at Skipton have been working together to build new relationship with external businesses.

"This is to not only help towards Skipton’s mission to make financial advice accessible to more people, but support in its commitment in helping to make things easier for brokers too, giving them easy access to a range of options for their clients."

The building society offers retirement, investment, pension and inheritance tax planning services in branch, at home or by video link.
