Transact looks to Royal London for chief development officer

Transact has appointed Tom Dunbar as chief development officer.

Dunbar joins from Royal London where he was distribution director, and previously spent nine years as a partner at NMG Consulting. He began his career at Friends Provident.

Jonathan Gunby, chief executive of Transact, said: “I have known Tom for over 10 years and am delighted that he has decided to join us.

Transact has been voted the most popular platform with advisers in 2019 and 2020

Earlier this month, Transact posted its highest-ever quarterly inflows, as its total assets under management hit £46.9bn.

The platform posted net inflows of £1.4bn during the three months to the end of March.
