Henderson's global equity changes sees Tabberer move to EM

Henderson's restructure of its global equities team has continued with fund manager Ian Tabberer moving across to the firm's emerging markets team as an investment director.

Mr Tabberer will now be responsible for interacting with clients, advisers and internal teams on all aspects of the emerging market equity portfolios, to help alleviate the marketing burdens on fund managers.

He will report to Glen Finegan, head of emerging market equities.

Mr Tabberer's departure from Henderson's global equities team follows a restructure which saw equity head Matthew Beesley leave the firm for Gam last month.

The former joined Henderson in 2015, having previously worked as a manager at Edinburgh-based Baillie Gifford.

Mr Finegan said: "The expansion of the Edinburgh based emerging market equities team marks a milestone in the development of this franchise and reflects our continued commitment to the asset class. Ian’s previous investment experience and time at Henderson will be invaluable as we continue to deliver performance and service for our clients.”
