Multi-asset investing is a popular route for many advisers and their clients, as it takes a lot of the research out of the process.

But, as with any type of investing, the usual strategies have come under pressure, because so much has changed in the economic landscape.

For example, which types of stocks are going to be worthwhile investments, assuming that we head into a recession?

Will we be seeing a big rise in inflation, following all the government intervention over the past few weeks?

And where does an adviser look for income, especially now that the usual big dividend payers, the banks, have been banned from doing so this year.

Clients still want advisers to look after their portfolios, but everyone is having to make big adjustments.

This guide, which is worth an indicative 60 minutes' CPD, attempts to set out some of the challenges.
